Of the four Chardonnays I have open (check the 2015 Wine Assignment #2 for the others), this one has the nose that grabs you tempting you to drink it. Powerful notes of melons and candy on the nose. Reminds me a little of fairy floss. On the palate it wasn't what I expected based on the nose (but that's a good thing as it'd be sweet like candy if it was), buttery smooth with some oaky texture that ends with a slight nutty tone. Quite an interesting wine and as you drink more to extract the different flavours the bottle is almost gone! Pretty good value at the basement prices Vinomofo sells it at.
