This dessert wine is a interesting blend of 80% Orange Muscat (a variety that's a cross between Chasselas + Muscat Blanc) and 20% Flora. It has straw-yellow colour and an aromatic nose. It is quite perfumed with tropical fruits, citrus and hints, of honey and ginger. On the palate it's quite sweet and dominates the high acidity. A great wine for those with a sweet-tooth and a nice introduction to dessert wines. A little one-noted but hard to fault for the price. Goes down dangerously easily.
It's RRP is $16.20 but was bought at Dan's for $13.99 making it suitable for Wine Assignment #5.
