Review: Brasserie d’Achouffe – La Chouffe

La Chouffe from Brasserie d’Achouffe

The Beer Review:

Definitely more flavours here compared to the American-styled pale ales I’ve tried for this comparison. Not heavy in body. Has floral and banana notes. Can’t really taste that it’s 8% abv! Smooth and goes down dangerously well.

My favourite between the 3 beers I tried for Beer Battle #1. The other beers:

MATILDA BAY – ALPHA PALE ALE GARAGE RESERVE

SIERRA NEVADA BREWING COMPANY – PALE ALE

Key Beer Aromas:
Banana, Bread / Biscuit / Cracker, Floral
