Review: Austins & Co. – 6 Foot 6 Pinot Noir (2015)

6 Foot 6 Pinot Noir from Austins & Co.

The Wine Review:

I love Pinot from Geelong and have had 6ft6’s 2013 a while ago. I was impressed with the 2013 vintage which I thought punched well above it’s weight for it’s price ($18)
I was pretty excited to give the 2015 a go.

A: Spice, vanilla, earth and forest floor
T: Spicy and earthy. Very lively with pepper and tar notes over the red fruit.

Amazing aromatics for the price ($19) with some exciting flavours in an easy drinking style. Tremendous bang for buck.

A fiery red headed upstart of a pinot which will just as soon love you as smack you in the mouth. Ygritte from GoT.
