The Dead Arm is one of the three "Icons" in d'Arenberg's range of wines (meaning premium). It's generally a blend of three shiraz's from different vineyards located in McLaren Vale (shiraz's from each vineyard can also be bought as single site bottles). The Dead Arm 2013 has a deep, dense purple hue. The nose hints of damp woods and hints of dry plum. On the palate it is strong and bold with a long finish. Rich dark fruits, chocolatey mixed with chewy tannins. Definitely an McLaren Vale icon!
