Review: Eden Road – The Barton (2013)

The Barton from Eden Road

The Wine Review:

I am hating the current cold in Sydney at the moment. At least it’s good for reds!

N: Blackberry oaky spiciness slight green pepper straight out of the bottle quite a strong interesting aromatic out of the bottle
T: Up front fruitiness blackberry plum dark fruit, savoury underneath. Elegant midweight body but just a bit too fruity for me

Pleasant but I could use more complexity in the flavour. I can tell there’s something going on underneath but this is largely covered up by the fruit.

A crowd pleaser whose good looks often covers talent and depth of character. The Ben Affleck of Syrah
