Review: McWilliam’s – Cool Climate Shiraz (2013)

Cool Climate Shiraz from McWilliam's

The Wine Review:

It’s not trendy to say but I find the labels on the new McWilliam’s Cool Climate series to be pretty cool. They’re embossed. #EMBOSSED!

A: Berry plum and currant. Quite fruitful (even straight after opening)

T: Savoury meaty, medium bodied with a medium acidity which carries the savoury flavours well. Peppery on the mid. Tannin levels are subdued for a shiraz this young. A great introduction for anyone to cool climate shiraz. Ends on a fruit note which is surprising because I am more used to the fruit up front.

Like that that movie Memento where the beginning is the end and the end is the beginning
