Review: Torbreck – The Loon (2009)

The Loon from Torbreck

The Wine Review:

Today is Mum’s 65th birthday so we wanted to open something on the big end to go with some beef cheeks cooking. Toasted oak on the aroma which takes some time to mellow out Dark fruit cassis. Particularly fruit forward. Moves to savoury spiciness from oak. Get a quite high alcoholic burn Very smooth tannin structure. Muscular and brash like an avenging Norse Thunder God
