Review: Xanadu – Cabernet Sauvignon (2010)

Cabernet Sauvignon from Xanadu

The Wine Review:

I almost feel guilty opening this Margaret River Cabernet Sauvignon so young, but I’m too busy enjoying it to let that feeling last too long! It has a whiff of flowers at the start and ends with an old leathery, cedar oak tone that gives it a earthy, appetizing aroma. On the palate it’s generous and rich, dark fruits and chocolate, balanced with underlying acids and integrated tannins. Goes well with a juicy steak! You can find this one at most stores much cheaper than the retail price (and even cheaper if you can spot the sales) making it darn good value.
